Company Functions
At Burrell, we offer
a variety of activities and events throughout
the year that foster communication and teamwork
among our staff.
Annual Winter
Ski Trip in the Sierra Nevada Mountains
where employees and family are invited to
stay overnight at a lodge weekend, go skiing
or snowboarding, or just enjoy the scenery.
Christmas
Party, is the big social event at the
end of the year. The Christmas Party event
is where we have an opportunity to give
thanks to all the employees and their families
that contributed to the success of the company.
Summer
Company Picnic, where employees, their
friends and family are encouraged to have
fun in a local park, enjoy BBQ, get their
face painted and have a squirt gun fight
or two.
Fall
Hackfest, is actually an employee only
golf oriented event where only the employees
are invited (no clients or vendors) to participate,
golfers and non-golfers alike.
Monthly Learning
Lunches, Burrell holds monthly training
sessions over a catered lunch so that everyone
in the entire company can sit down together
and learn about the various aspects of our
practice, from the newest CAD techniques,
Global Positioning Systems, to how engineering
designs are implemented in the field as
taught by experts in the industry.
